Baseball Tonight

Tampa Bay Rays Tonight I am heading up to Tampa to see the Tampa Bay Rays fight it out with the Chicago White Sox. I will of course be wearing my Chicago Cubs cap even though they won’t be in town until June 17th. (Which I plan to also come to Tampa to experience.)

This should be an exciting evening, and the rumor is that there are $1 hot dogs at the stadium tonight.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Palm TreeMerry Christmas!

Remember to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus today!

Here is the politically correct version of “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

Beware of Greyhound!

I recently got my backyard fenced in and now I think it is time to put a sign up to warn the neighbors about the ferocious animal that protects my property. Beware of Greyhound

Now I just need to find a company that can make this bigger and turn it into a sign to place on the fence.

Note: Greyhounds are the 2nd fastest land animal, but they are extremely lazy and sleep near 20 hours per day, often on their backs with legs up in the air. This sign is not portraying a ‘dead greyhound’, but a greyhound sleeping or as some say ‘roaching’.

Hydrocarbon

The technology of yesterday, today.

Do you drive a hydrocarbon powered vehicle?
