I have some readers who come here to get updates about how I am doing with my health and fitness goals. I also have readers who come here to see what I am thinking about politics. I have found that the readers who are looking for my fitness updates are not interested in reading my political ramblings.

Well, I got the message. So, I have launched My Fitness Blog. This blog has all of the posts form this site that fall under the Health or Life categories. So, if you want to avoid my political ramblings you can head over to http://blog.jeffbristow.com . If you want to see everything I am writing about you can remain right here at http://www.thebristows.com .

Thank you to all of my readers, it is great knowing that there are people actually reading what I am writing. I hope this change is a nice surprise for some of you!

I thought I would share some information about the graphic at the top of the site. The kids and hut on the right of the screen are from a picture that Jaime and I took while in Kenya in October of 2005. The Lion is also a picture we took while in Kenya while riding in a van. No zoom was used. (yeah, it was close)

I integrated these pictures into the background picture of a bridge over a misty creek. I pictured these kids looking across the bridge to God. I then had the thought that this bridge is like Christ, bridging the gap between us and God. I was going to place the Lion on the other side of the bridge. So the Lion would represent God and the bridge as Jesus. However, I wanted to also show that God and Jesus are one. So I wanted to show the Lion doing something that we know Jesus has done. So I placed the Lion on the water, like he is walking on the water. So for all who were wondering why we are using this header graphic, now you know.

We just added over 1,400 pictures to our Picture Gallery. We got our Wedding Photos uploaded and our enormous collection of Photos taken in Kenya October 2005.

You have reached the website for The Bristow’s. At some point in the future we may actually use this site for something. If you are lucky we could even put pictures of our dog up.

But in the meantime this site simply looks cool. So cool in fact that we have a hair dryer on full blast underneath the site to keep it from turning into a sheet of ice. Yeah, that cool.

So while you are desperatly tring to figure out how we could possibly have a hair dryer underneath our website, you can click on those little pictures at the top of the page and watch the background change before your very eyes.
