Cubs VS Rays
Jun 18th, 2008 | By Jeff | Category: LifeOn June 17th my wife and I went up to Tampa to watch the Chicago Cubs play the Tampa Bay Rays. It was an exciting game, and the place was packed with Cubs fans. I would guess 80% of everyone there was there to see the Cubs. Sadly, Tampa Bay won the game, but the Cubs fought up to the last second and had everyone on their feet in the 9th inning.
Here is a picture I took with my cell phone that shows where we were sitting, we had some good seats to see all of the action.

That stadium rocks. Once again…you do know that my house is a mere 50 miles from Tampa. Geez. Actually it would be quite a bit more from the stadium. That place seems like it is at the end of the earth.
Sorry, I wasn’t able to swing by your house.
I didn’t get home until 2:00 am as it was. If you want we can try and meet up at the stadium some time to catch a game. I am always up for watching a baseball game.
And the Rays may be getting a new stadium, for some reason most people don’t like Tropicana Field, so St. Petertsburg is going to pony up a ton of cash and build them a new stadium so that the outfield looks out onto the Bay.
