Grow Up?

This weekend I was thinking about some of the things that Jesus said about children. The things that jump out the most to me are when he tells adults to be like children. We often hear phrases like “Grow up.” or “Act your age.” I may hear them more than most, but I am guessing everyone has heard something along these lines as they were growing up. As parents we often push for our kids to be more responsible or to act more ‘grown up’. So, I want to examine a couple of things that Jesus said that may seem a bit upside down for some adults. Jesus wasn’t telling the kids to ‘grow up’ but for the adults to ‘grow down’
Mark 13:10-16
13 One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him.
14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to thbout being a child that we all need to have.em,
